Frequently asked questions
- What is the typical contract length?
- Most engagements are 3 to 12 months. We also run shorter surge engagements (4 to 8 weeks) when a program needs immediate specialist depth.
- Do you place on W2 or 1099?
- Both. Our preference is W2 for multi-month engagements — it is cleaner for the client, the consultant, and for tax. 1099 is available when the consultant is an established corp-to-corp vendor.
- Do contract consultants work on client systems or yours?
- They work on your systems, using your tooling, and follow your SDLC. We do not re-platform your program — we embed specialists into it.
- What happens if a consultant is not a fit after starting?
- We backfill within 5 business days with a new shortlist, at no additional fee. Early-termination terms are spelled out in the MSA.
